Renée Kennedy-Edwards, MS has combined her expertise as a clinical psychotherapist and business consultant/trainer into an executive and personal coach assisting others in reaching their potential and boosting the bottom line in businesses. Ms. Kennedy-Edwards earned her Masters of Science degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee where she worked in private practice counseling individuals, couples & families. She also worked as a consultant/trainer to area businesses offering group coaching and seminars on improving productivity, communication and accountability.
Kennedy-Edwards specializes in a variety of personal coaching issues: personal fulfillment, relationships, goal-setting and achievement, etc. With her background in psychology and human behavior, she is able to uncover the self-imposed barriers that some people subconsciously set for themselves that prohibit or slow down their progress. By getting to the root cause of client’s thoughts & behavior, she can assist the client into exchanging old habits for more effective strategies towards long-term success. On the business front, her specialties include: quality customer service, communication strategies, organizational skills, leadership coaching and employee and customer retention programs.
A published writer and professional speaker, her experience includes writing for area magazines and hosting a TV show called, “Business to Business” on the WB network. Renee has been awarded the 2005 Gulfshore Business “40 under 40″ award, recognizing the Southwest Florida’s top successful people in business.
Ms. Kennedy-Edwards philosophy revolves around living a fulfilled and purposeful life that is balanced in such a way that it is meaningful, rewarding and especially enjoyable. She believes that “with the proper tools and skills, it is within one’s ability to be successful, passionate, and most importantly, happy”.
